There is a place for you on our team!

If you want the incredibly deep satisfaction of saving the lives of kitties, while working with a wonderful team of volunteers, we would love to have your help.  No matter what your interest or passion, or how much time you have available, there is something you can do to help rescue kitties.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of animal rescue. There are many ways you might be of service, but most importantly, we want you to do something you ENJOY doing. There's a lot to do, but we also have a lot of fun while saving kitties.

Here are some ways you can help:

• Foster a kitty (or kitties).  We depend on volunteers to provide loving temporary homes to our rescue kitties. The more fosters we have, the more kitties we can save!
• Transport kitties.  Drive kitties to veterinary appointments and adoption fairs, and pick up kitties we are rescuing from shelters.
• Help screen our adoption applicants.  Interview prospective kitty parents on the telephone, and help them pick the right kitty for their lifestyle.
• Help staff our adoption fairs.  This is a great time to tell people about our wonderful Maine Coon kitties and animal rescue.
• Photograph kitties or touch up photos.  We need great photos that show our kitties at their best for flyers and online listings.
• Write kitty descriptions or informative articles.  We need engaging, fun descriptions of our kitties for adoption flyers and online listings.  We can also use interesting articles for our website and newsletters.
• Help spread the word on the Internet.  Help update our online kitty listings or develop content for our website.
• Help socialize and care for our rescue kitties.  Our team of kitty cuddlers makes sure our rescue kitties get plenty of play time and love.
