Casper & Winston

I finally had a chance to upload shots of the two boys, who are both doing great.  Casper isn’t a kitten anymore!  He is still a bundle of energy though, almost like a jack Russell terrier, while Winston is super laid back, so it’s a great combination.

 I did some poking around and we’re pretty sure Casper is at least a mix of Turkish Van – he has all the characteristics, the angora fur, body type, cream tail and head markings, and temperament – and he loves water, has been jumping into the tub while the shower is on.  I’ve seen videos of these cats swimming, they are a hoot.

 Anyway, it’s been a blast so far with both.  Winston has put on an incredible winter coat, his tail has completely filled back in, and he’s stabilized at almost 13 pounds.  I’ve got both guys trained on the leash, and Winston and I go out every night at 11:00 for a little roam up and down the sidewalk in our neighborhood.  Casper is still afraid of the front yard, so he goes out on the leash in the back.
