Rusty: The Kitty Who Almost Didn't Make it!

This gorgeous kitty was rescued from a high-kill shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. We are delighted that Cindy, his mom, adopted him sight unseen from the shelter, based on our recommendation.

Hello Friends at MCA,

When I received your April-June newsletter, Sue (the volunteer who sent it to me) wrote that you'd love to put a picture of Rusty on your website. I got excited and I have been on quite the quest to get a good picture of him. He's a gorgeous cat and the pictures don't do him justice (plus he'd never sit still when the camera was out). So I sent a couple and you can choose which is best. I never could get his whole beautiful tail in there though. Thank you and keep up the good adoption work!
