Max: the jetsetter...

Max came from a shelter and was thin, quiet and probably depressed. He was in his foster home for barely a week before Marcia appeared via email, looking for a big black and white male. A match was made in heaven, and Scott and Sandy flew Max from Oakland to Atascadero where Marcia picked him up. This photo is of a happy Marcia and a tired Max when they first met at the airport. Since then, he is thriving! While many of our kitties are content in their foster homes, they really come alive and thrive when they are adopted and finally have a "home" and a loving family.

"I adopted a Maine Coon boy in November and have not been active with the organization since then. But I have to tell you that he is just FANTASTIC, so very playful. He loves and plays with our dog and is just the greatest cat. He is still an indoor guy but I've taken him out on a leash and halter a few times which he loves."

"Here's a picture of me and Max. He's doing very well. He's eating !!!!!"
