Macy, the rocket kitty...

"Macy is doing well. She seems to have only two speeds: Mach One and zonked out. She zips like a banshee all through the house, darting here and there and back again. She is very fond of our houseplants - even the silk ones - so all of those are as high as we can get them - along the mantel and some in our laundry room. Macy has the downstairs bath to herself, litter box, food bowls and all. We bring her kitty bed and lots of toys into the family room or our home office area so she can spend "supervised" time getting to know us and the house. She likes to sit in a window sill (with a screen, so she can't get out) sniffing at all the scents from outdoors. Her love for little fur-covered mice continues to grow - now she trots about with one in her mouth! Macy sometimes naps on the desk next to my computer - snoozing peacefully with her little paws up on the sides of her soft kitty bed and her head nested on her paws - photo op time, if you can find the camera fast enough before she wakes up and takes off again. She is a lot of fun - and some work too! A bit like having a toddler who can move at 90 mph and jump the human equivalent of five stories in a single leap!"
