This sweetie was rescue from the San Jose shelter just before she was to be put down. We are delighted that we could save her. Here is a happy update on her:
Lucy is doing very well! She enjoys being around people and follows us from room to room to keep tabs on whatever we are doing. She is very curious and intelligent and has learned some of the house rules very quickly. She is quite affectionate on her own terms (she.d rather site by you than on your lap) but that might change as she gets to know us. She sleeps on the foot of our bed every night and meows if she thinks we are leaving the light on a little too long! Her coat is growing in softer and shinier on her healthy diet. She doesn.t really like to be brushed through we are working on that with lots of praise and treats for short grooming sessions. Thank you again for saving Lucy, along with you amazing volunteers who helped in the process. P.S. Keep up the good work! We enjoy the newsletter and seeing Lucy.s photo on the website.
