Izzy and Zeke - Still growing
They seem to tolerate each other well enough, however, as it is with two masters in the house, they will get a bit possessive about their space. They still play together, even though we have had to separate them on occasion. Zeke still thinks he is kitten-size, and does not realize just how strong he has become. Every now andf then, he will take a swipe at his sister, but pays for it in the long run. Izzy will not retaliate immediately, rather, she waits for Zeke to let his gaurd down and ends up doing a "run-by nip on his butt" move. That usually puts Zeke in his place and he leaves her alone for a couple of days.
I am attaching some recent photos of the kits, taken about one week ago. Izzy and Zeke. We are so grateful for them and to you and the entire rescue folks for allowing us to share their lives with ours. We recently moved about one mile from our old place, which was no big deal for either of them. They love their new digs. Oh, are these cats ever going to stop growing? They are two years old and there does not seem to be any end in sight! Zeke is 38 inches long and Izzy is 34 inches long, from the tip of their tails to their noses. Zeke is pushing 16 pounds, and Izzy is at a very solid 14 pounds. She is quite muscular. Zeke is a bit more, well, relaxed and comfortable with his body, so to speak. We love these kits. Jeff
