Bunny: Nearly Feral when we Took her In
Bunny was one of the most difficult kitties we ever took in. She was nearly feral when we got her, but thanks to her foster, Mardi, and a kitty consultant who helped her, Bunny is now with a family and doing just great.
Bunny is doing really well and she and Scotty are getting better also. He is a young, active dog and she is doing a good job of putting him in his place when he gets too excited. She is feeling comfortable enough with him that she lets him put his nose on her and will occasionally come up to him for attention. She is still skittish but as long as I approach her slowly and from the back I can pet her and pick her up. She does come up to me all the time. She will sit on my lap if I put her up there but is not wanting to jump up herself yet.
I think we all make a great family and I am thankful for these loving creatures in my life.
