Bob: Watching for our Son
Bob is doing fantastic. He is now called Oslo as we think he looks like a Norwegian forest cat. He and my little boy are the best friends in the world. I've had many cats but I have never seen a cat bonding with a child of this young age. When our son cries, Oslo comes to him, rubs himself against him, say "miaou miaou" and bites us- the parents- gently as if he wants to signal that he is watching for our son. It's pretty cute. Marius has this gentle way when he is dealing with Oslo, kissing him on the forehead, lying down next to him when Oslo is on the living room rug (his absolute favorite place where he lays down, all legs/arm out).
Oslo is still very fond of canned food and we have reached a compromise of a couple of ounces once a day in addition to his dry food as he gets really moody if he does not get canned food. Just by looking at him, my husband can tell if he got his daily ration or not.
We are very happy with our pet friend, he is just a great cat.
Best
