Alex & Molly

Today while I was emailing, Alex hopped up on the keyboard to get attention, purring like a mad thing. This is a bit of a breakthrough. He really is a sweet little guy. Molly is a bit more advanced — she has taken over the house. She has already worn out one feather toy, has taken to knocking the pens off my desk and batting them around the floor, zips up and down the cat furniture like a little monkey, and dares to use the other cats as batting partners. She has discovered the clothes closet, scaled the heights of the bookcases in the living room, and helps herself to the other cats' tuna in the kitchen. And not that I'm encouraging her, but she is a natural-born mooch. (Oh, you're eating? Don't mind if I do...) She seems to be thoroughly enjoying herself — which is entirely the idea.
