Our Overlooked KittiesUpdated July 1, 2010Here are some of our kitties that, for some reason, have been overlooked by our past adopters. Perhaps they are a bit "mature" (i.e. older), or a bit shy, or... who knows why? We know that all animals give back far more love than we can ever give them, and so we hope you will consider one of these kitties. Chula
My name is Chula and I am a super affectionate girl whose idea of a good time is my morning ritual of accompanying my Mom into the bathroom and lying next to the sink, watching while it fills with water. When my Mom combs her hair, I grab the comb with my paw so I also get combed. Like many people, I can be quite talkative and opinionated... I let you know when I want attention or left alone. (Some would say that I have a strong personality.) To top it off, I am playful AND beautiful, and have the classic Maine Coon eyeliner-lined eyes. What more could you want? Oh, my front paws are declawed. I am seven years old and need to be an only kitty. See me live on my two videos, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiC6kzleaP4 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=568s9wvdD4o. I am living in the San Jose area but don't let distance stop you! If you are looking for a lap kitty, look no further: you've just found her. My name is Colleen and I am officially "The World's Sweetest Kitty". If you want a kitty to keep you company while you work on the computer, read or watch TV, here I am. I am happy on your lap, next to you or sitting on your desk- wherever you want me to be, I'm easy. I'm not one of those lap kitties who is annoying in your lap all the time. You can even hold me in your arms like a baby and pet me, and I'm happy. I also have "The World's Softest Fur". Oh, and I do like those wand toys! I do fine with other kitties as long as they let me have my space and don't want to be instant buddies with me. I'm about ten years old and my liver, kidney and thyroid are in great shape, according to my blood panel. I weight about eight pounds, am spayed, up to date with my shots, tested negative and am microchipped. Hi there! My name is Parker. I got the name because I was found in a parking lot - get it? I was a "Parker" - ha ha ha ha. As you can see, I have not let my recent run of bad luck affect my sense of humor at all. No sirree. I'm a beautiful orange-and-white Maine Coon mix and a sweet lover boy who loves nothing better than purring and kneading and showing you how much I love love love you. Now if you are familiar with us orange Maine Coon boys, you know that we have all of the fabulous Maine Coon traits that you want: love people playful, fluffy fur, ear tuffs, SWEEET spirit, and mellow. And I fit all of those traits to a T. Yup, pull out that Cat Dancer and just watch me go at it! I am about two to three years old. I have tested positive for FELV, so I will need to be an only cat. Now most people don't understand FELV and think it's a death sentence but us "positive" guys can often live very long and healthy lives. My vet and my foster Mom can tell you more about that very misunderstood condition. So how about it: can I "park" myself with you? For more information, please contact Barbara at 510-638-6803 |
