Penelope

We only had Penelope for a few weeks, when her life was cut short by FIP. She was the most affectionate and sweet tempered kitten I've ever known. Our other kitty, Lucy, adored Penelope- the best way I can describe their relationship would would be as big sister (Penelope)- calm, confident and tolerant- and little sister (Lucy)- following big sister around adoringly, but also bugging her by jumping on her and trying to wrestle and fool around. But mostly Penelope was just a sweet kitty who wanted to sit on my lap and cuddle. She brought joy to our lives, and now that she's gone we can only try to remember how happy she was for the short while she was with us.
